lgabster Browser topic: they all can do cross-device sync on all platforms (at least Brave and Arc can, I haven't used the others much), but they add a lot of extra for privacy, ad-blocking, performance. At least my experience is that brave works with at least half the ram if many tabs are open.

Stuffs installed on mac stores on multiple different locations so it is a hassle to find and remove them. So for small dev stuffs like building discord bot I use docker containers on mac. I also new to linux so learning linux on VM

I would really recommend that as well :) Learning Rust is not easy, especially if that is your first low level language. The compiler is very strict, but this means that if your code compiles, then it will mostly (90%+) work first try. It will also be free from a wide range of bugs and voulnerabilities. I haven't used Go yet, it is a very different beast :) It is a simple language with many benefits. You can't go wrong with eith

lgabster @horvbalint99 I've been using Node.js as a backend for 10 years and have worked with all the mainstream frontend frameworks. I like Vue the best, so I've worked with Nuxt a lot. Yes, I know the two languages are a bit different. I lean more towards Go because it's probably better suited for writing web servers, APIs, DevOps tools or container applications.

horvbalint99 @lgabster I think both of them are great for these. Rust will hold your hand and will force you to write working software, while Go gives you much more freedom. The letter will allow you to build faster, but might take more time in the long run (bug fixing, refactors), while with Rust initial progress will be slower, but you wont have to touch it later :D
