As someone who works out of the EU.. I am just not convinced its such a bad place
vinaiah123:
yeah @vineetdevaiah on twitter :)
martinpi:
it's definitely a good place to live .. but i would love simple things like a SAFE that doesn't need adaptation
vinaiah123:
just incorporate in the US for funding and have a "sister/sales" EU based company for access to excellent lifestyle including social service
vinaiah123:
Whats the advantage of incorporating in the EU
adriankilian:
Accelerating timelines. Achilles heel of europe
martinpi:
my startup is a university spin-off so it wasn't like we had a choice where to base it (and we got excellent soft funding, so there's that)
vinaiah123:
well thats a unique case and honestly university spin offs in the US are shit too
vinaiah123:
the "advantage" of basing something in the US is mostly if you have or want access to the funding system - a large majority of even tech companies do not do that in the US also.
vinaiah123:
In your case maybe its more tough if the IP has to reside in a specific jurisdiction
McPizza0:
my ears 😂
adriankilian:
🤣
McPizza0:
small profit windows are great
adityarao310:
Love levels! Great inspiration. But he always builds "problem first" vs pattern patching new tech Y for AI. Right?
martinpi:
that's a really good book
adriankilian:

adriankilian:
Go after what's obvious in 5 years
